Limiting strap length is measured from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole. The strap's webbing material has a rating between 14,000 to 15,000 pounds. The 4130 chromoly ends are rated to 15,000 pounds.
Limit straps are a must for any off road application to prevent damage to your suspension and drive train components.
Without limit straps, your shocks act as limit stops at max droop which can cause damage from your vehicle's unsprung weight. Limiting straps also prevent damage to your CV joints by limiting the amount of maximum angle on your axles. The limit straps we carry are four-ply and1" of stretch is allowed for every 12" of strap.
